Evaluating Your Business as a Franchise
by Ed Teixeira
For companies that are considering franchising their business here is
a simple checklist that can provide a good indication of whether the
business could be franchised.
For companies that have an existing business that they would like to
franchise the first step in the process is to determine if the business is a
viable candidate for being franchised. When I’m contacted by prospective clients
that are exploring the possibility of franchising their business I explain the
franchising process to them and the approximate costs. The next thing I do is to
forward them a copy of a checklist I’ve developed. After they complete the
checklist it will provide both the business owner and me a good indication of
how to proceed.
Before expanding thousands of dollars on franchising your business complete my
checklist. It’s easy to complete. If there are any questions simply call or send
me an e-mail.
